Ticket to Paradise is more staycation than vacation, and as such it is equally as memorable. Content collapsed. While predictable by nature with character development issues throughout, Ticket to Paradise is a compelling romantic comedy worth a watch. Content collapsed.

Films are fake, but the distraction was more convincing when the props and extras and even the dolphins were real.

Sex, Romance & Nudity. Adult characters kiss passionately and make references to sex, condom use, and spending the night together. Two people wake up in the same bed after a drunken night out and make references to under-the-sheet nudity (not shown).

Ticket to Paradise grossed $68.3 million in the United States and Canada, and $100.3 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $168.6 million, against a budget of $60 million, making it a box office success.

“Ticket to Paradise” fails because Parker seems to have vaguely remembered the interpersonal conflict of old Hollywood romantic comedies (talking '40s, not '90s, BTW) and filled the movie with immature, unfunny foolishness with the assumption that we'll find it charming just because of who's on screen.

Julia Roberts and George Clooney have a friendship for the ages! The movie, set in Bali, was actually filmed in Australia. The cast and crew had every intention to film in Bali, however, they had to cease production because of COVID regulations and restrictions for filming. Their next best bet was Whitsunday Islands in Australia.

The plot twist is that the movie wasn't actually filmed in Bali. Instead, Ticket to Paradise was filmed in Australia. In particular, the Whitsundays, the Gold Coast and on beaches close to Brisbane in Queensland. Our beautiful Whitsunday Islands were used as the “Balinese” backdrop you see in the movie.

Really great thought provoking movie. Acting is solid, directing well done. Some interesting twists and unexpected direction of some characters. Great at raising the whole ethical question of yet another way the wealthy can take advantage of those in need.

Absolutely!! The cast is fantastic; the setting beautiful; the story is the perfect blend of action, comedy and heart. This is a great show and I REALLY REALLY hope Almost Paradise gets many more seasons! Was this review helpful?

Not to say anyone is qualified to say what is good or bad but The Paradise is just simply VERY good in many ways. This series was a refreshing step away from the overdone crime dramas and did not need or require nudity nor profanity to make is superb.
